Link.
Hey, y'all —
I wanted to share a link that may be interesting to two groups of people, some of whom overlap: (1) those who are discouraged by Joe Biden becoming the de facto nominee, whose policy decisions over the past forty years helped make someone like Elizabeth Warren possible (let alone the fact that party voters seem to have gone with someone like Biden over someone with a singular interest in improving the American healthcare system, despite M4A being a preference of a majority of primary voters this cycle), and (2) those who have an interest in unions and organizing.
It's an interview with Jane McAlevey, who ran The Stamford Organizing Project, a portion of work related to health care with the SEIU, and SEIU Nevada. It opens an intriguing window onto an idea of usefulness that might be helpful to a lot of people on the road ahead.
